COLD SPRING - The Rocori Spartans crushed Willmar in Central Lakes baseball on Thursday 12-2 and 13-2, both in five innings.
Rocori, which is chasing Alexandria for first place, improved to 10-3 in the loop and 10-4 overall.
Willmar (2-8, 2-10) has another CLC twin bill today, again third-place Brainerd, at Baker Field.
Josh Warne doubled home both Cardinal runs in the fourth inning of Game 1. Freshman Isaac Kobenia started Game 2, departing in the second inning .
