Prep Basketball Roundup: LQPV downs MACCRAY in second half

MADISON -- Haley Wolschlager hit four of her five 3-point shots in the first half and Lac qui Parle limited MACCRAY to eight points over the final 14 minutes of a 56-46 Camden Conference win Thursday.

LQPV improved to 3-0 in the conference and overall.

The Eagles’ Lindsay Kranz scored 12 of her 15 points in the second half, including eight straight during one stretch that gave LQPV a 12-point lead.

Kelsea Lund finished with 18 points and six rebounds.

MACCRAY’s Carly Orwick had 15 points and nine rebounds, Sydney Schwitters had 14 points and Emily Wrede had five points and 10 rebounds.

Dawson-Boyd erased a halftime deficit behind Alex Sather’s 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a Camden Conference game Thursday in Prinsburg.
