ANNANDALE - Morris/Chokio-Alberta handed Annandale their first loss of the season Wednesday, largely thanks to the work of Eric Staebler.
Staebler had 34 points, 19 rebounds and knocked down four three-pointers to lead the Tigers to a 63-56 win and improve to 8-2 on the season.
Sean Amundson added 11 points and Jacob Zosel had nine points and led the Tigers with six assists.
Jarod Wilken shouldered the offensive load on the Annandale side of the ball with 22 points.
Morris will look for their third win in a row Tuesday on the road Minnewaska

Watertown-Mayer overcame a five-point halftime deficit to down the Dragons in St. Cloud Cathedral’s Crusader Classic on Wednesday.
W-M’s Trae Berhow drew a foul and made two free throws for the lead with three seconds left, and Litchfield’s half-court attempt for the win missed the mark.

Litchfield’s Luke Schultz scored 15 points and he also had five rebounds. Brandon Nelson scored 10 points and Jon Madsen had eight points and six rebounds.
