OLIVIA - Ben Steffel hammered the Montevideo defense for 213 yards in 18 rushes as the BOLD Warriors won their third straight 35-8 Friday night.
The 195-pound senior running back scored on runs of 21 and 41 yards.
With their top attacker running back Marcus Kranz injured, Montevideo was held to negative yards in the first half.
Brad Wolff added 54 yards and scored on a couple of dive plays.
Ben Steffel ran for 213 yards and scored two TDs for the Warriors (3-1, 3-1).
The Thunder-Hawks fell to 3-1, 3-1.
The ground-based Warriors attack went to the airways for the first score, a 28-yard pass play from Lane Stadther to Trent Athmann.
