ST. CLOUD - Brian Goodwin broke up a Maple Lake conversion pass in overtime, and Tommy Cebulla then scored the game-tying touchdown and kicked the game-winning extra point in BBE’s 20-19 win over Maple Lake on Saturday at St. Cloud State University.
The Jaguars improved to 4-1 in the Central Minnesota Conference - a game back of Holdingford - and they are 5-1 overall.
BBE took a 13-0 lead at halftime on touchdown runs from Austin Kollman and Goodwin.
But Maple Lake rallied for two scored in the fourth quarter to force overtime, then scored a touchdown on its first overtime possession.
Goodwin broke up Tony Goelz’ two-point conversion pass.

On BBE’s possession, Cebulla ran in from 5 yards out and kicked the conversion for the win.
Kollman ran for 134 yards to become the first area back to surpass 1,000 for the season. He now has 1,044 yards and 9 touchdowns on the season.
Cebulla ran for 48 yards and he also caught 2 passes.
The Jaguars play host to Pierz at 7 p.m. Friday.
