Prep Football: Dawson-Boyd wins Section 5A title

MARSHALL -- Thanks to Nathaniel Huot's four touchdowns, Dawson-Boyd will get a chance to defend its Class A title as the Blackjacks drubbed Little Sioux Conference rival Minneota/Lincoln HI 42-21 in the Section 5A title game Friday at Southwest Minnesota State University.

Huot hauled in 9 passes from Joey Lee for 217 yards and 3 scores. Lee completed 13 of 15 passes for 283 yards and 4 TDs with no interceptions.

Michael Lee and Justin Lee also scored to ignite Dawson-Boyd (10-1) into the state tournament where it will face Browerville (9-2) next Friday at 7 p.m. at the University of Minnesota-Morris.

The Blackjacks beat the Vikings (9-2) 22-6 last year in the Section 5A final to reach their first-ever state tournament.
