Prep Football: KMS wraps up first win

MURDOCK -- Jonah Johnson ran the ball 45 times and collected 142 yards and a touchdown Friday to lead Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg to a 26-12 non-conference triumph over United North Central.

It was the first win of the season for the Fighting Saints (1-5).

Aaron Doraska added rushing touchdowns of 3 and 21 yards and also threw a four-yard scoring pass to Johnson.

United North Central scored its second touchdown to end the first half with a 12-6 lead and then KMS scored 20 unanswered points in the second half.
