GROVE CITY - Montevideo’s Troy Diggins threw five touchdown passes, four of them to Travis Dreyer, and the Thunder Hawks overwhelmed ACGC 35-6 on Friday.
Diggins was firing, hitting 12 of 17 throws for 278 yards.
Dreyer hauled in seven passes for 147 yards and Preston Herfurth made three catches for 83 yards, including a 39-yard scoring strike from Diggins in the second quarter.
Monte’s Reece Kuhlmann gained 40 yards on 11 carries and Diggins picked up 27 yards on nine carries.
ACGC’s Beau Anderson carried 20 times for 118 yards and scored the Falcons’ lone TD on five yard run in the fourth quarter.
Montevideo improved to 3-1 overall while ACGC fell to 2-2.
