LITTLE FALLS - Jackson Ness scored touchdowns on two long runs and New London-Spicer held off Little Falls 26-13 on Friday.

The Wildcats improved to 3-2 overall and they play host to Zimmerman at 7 p.m. Friday in New London.

Ness opened the scoring with a 68-yard TD run and he later scored on a 61-yard run. In between, quarterback Brandon Adelman connected with Ben Dobmeier on a 9-yard scoring pass and Blake Schuck scored on a 5-yard run.

Ness gained 205 of NLS' 267 rushing yards on just 18 carries.

Nate Barush was in on 12 tackles and Nate Hanson was in on nine tackles.

Morris/CA 36, YME 13

Morris/Chokio-Alberta strayed slightly from its ground and pound game but the Tigers kept their winning streak alive with a 36-13 win over Yellow Medicine East on Friday night.

Toby Sayles ran for 45 yards and also threw for 127 for the Tigers. He accounted for three touchdowns when the dust settled.

Tiger running back Jacob Zosel ran for 91 yards on 22 attempts including two touchdowns.

The Tigers led the entire way but YME managed a pair of touchdowns, including a 21-yard touchdown catch by Austin Friese in the second quarter.

Morris/CA will look to keep their undefeated record next week with a visit to Sauk Centre as YME will hope to get back on track against Minnewaska.

Dawson-Boyd 31, TMB 8

Eli Weber caught three touchdown passes on the way to a comfortable Dawson-Boyd win on Friday night over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton.

Weber caught seven of quarterback Alex Swenson's nine completions and turned that into 120 yards. The Blackjack offense was successful on the ground as well as running back Bently Boike ran for 134 yards on 19 carries.

Most have come to expect a strong defense from Dawson-Boyd and they didn't disappoint. The Blackjack defense didn't allowed a single score and limited the Panthers to 156 total yards. The lone score for the Panthers came on a fumble return for a touchdown.

Dawson-Boyd (4-1) will act as hosts to Lakeview next Friday.

Eden Valley-Watkins' defense showed up against Paynesville on Friday night and kept the Bulldogs scoreless until the fourth quarter.

The Eagles ran for four touchdowns in the game including two from Dominic Schlangen.

Max Weidner was the leading runner for the Bulldogs. He carried the ball 11 times for 33 yards and also threw for 90 yards and a score.

The Bulldogs will get back on the gridiron at 7 p.m. on Friday in Pierz.

Renville County West opened up the game with a touchdown but the rest of the way was all Wheaton/Herman-Norcross.

The Warriors ran for 289 yards on the day and featured a pair of scores from Max Donnelly and Jacob Hasbargen.

The Jaguars had a respectable offense as well, rushing for 169 yards and passing for 113.

RCW had some impressive defenders as five players ended with double digit tackles, led by Stephen Countryman with 13.

The Jaguars will visit Maynard next Friday for a matchup with MACCRAY.

Caden Fernholz scored a touchdown on a 10-yard run in overtime as West Central defeated BBE on Friday.

BBE's Adam Jaeger scored three touchdowns, including a 6-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter that, with Jared Weller's two-point conversion run, sent the game into overtime.

Isaiah Gilbert, who scored the Jaguars' other TD on a 37-yard run, led BBE with 153 yards on 25 carries.
