LITCHFIELD - Litchfield saved its best for last, hanging seven touchdowns in three quarters on Mound-Westonka to pick up its first win of the season 47-12 on Wednesday.
Kal Volinkaty caught two TD passes and Cody Beavers one from QB Jared Pedersen, and Cody Klabunde punched through for a five-yard run in the first half, putting Litchfield up 30-0 at halftime.
Cody Rau ran in a kickoff return from 85 yards out early in the third quarter, and Beavers added on with a 45-yard interception return.
Ben Haugo capped the Dragons’ scoring with an eight-yard run.
Klabunde totaled 188 yard rushing yards, and Volinkaty caught six passes for 110 yards.
Pedersen completed eight passes for 156 yards.
