BECKER - Both of Litchfield’s boys and girls golf teams advanced to the second round of the Section 5AA tournament Thursday.
It’s Providence Academy’s tournament to lose Monday as the Lions are both the boys and girls team leaders after the first round. The Dragon girls are second, nine strokes behind, and the boys are in third, but only two shots off the pace.
Jordan Redepenning shot a 74 to lead the Litchfield boys while Alex Tipka’s 87 was the top score for the girls.
The final round starts at 8:30 a.m. on Monday back at Pebble Creek.
