Madyson Melgard's hat trick leads Lakers to the home girls hockey victory

DETROIT LAKES — Madyson Melgard scored three goals to help lead Detroit Lakes to an 8-2 girls hockey victory over the Morris/Benson Area Storm on Tuesday night.

Taryn Picht gave MBA an early 1-0 lead. Kortney Sanasack had the Storm’s other goal.
