LITCHFIELD — The Willmar girls hockey team edged Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato 3-2 on Thursday night.

The Cardinals got goals from Makenna Larson, Avery Olson and Chloe Lownsbury. The Dragons’ goals came from Emily Johnson and Camryn Iverson.

Willmar’s Halle Mortenson made 24 saves for the victory. Janelle Quast had 32 saves for Litchfield/DC.

Willmar is back on the road Friday at Crosby to face Northern Lakes.

Litchfield/D-C is host to River Lakes on Tuesday.
