GROVE CITY -- Christy Gass pitched her fifth shutout in the last two weeks and BOLD scored all its runs in the top of the seventh and beat Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 6-0 in a West Central South Conference game on Thursday.
BOLD won its sixth straight game and stayed one game behind Minnewaska in the conference race with the win.
Laura Padrnos' single scored one run, two others scored on a throwing error at home, and Hillary Mages tripled in another run.
Gass went the distance for the Warriors (9-2, 10-5). She allowed five hits, struck out five and walked two.
Jazmin Petersen took the loss. She struck out 10 and walked three. Rachel Wright paced the Falcons (5-7, 6-8) with two hits.

The Bulldogs (9-3, 12-3) pounded out 12 hits, led by Whitney Woehler with three, including a double. She also had an RBI. Jenn Paul and Jessica Solum added two hits each.
Woehler also pitched all five innings for the win, allowing two runs on five hits. She struck out four and didn't walk a batter.

Kayla Berget went 2-for-2 to pace the Thunder Hawks (4-8, 7-8). Jaci Clauson drove in a run.

Taylor Semler tossed a one-hitter as Benson/Hancock routed the Eagles in six innings.
Semler didn't allow an earned run and struck out 11. She also drove in two runs for Benson/Hancock. Mallory Jensen had two hits and drove in a run.

After one-out singles from Laura Paulson and Jordan Stalker, the Lakers scored two runs in the top of the eighth on a Morris error and a fielder's choice.
Stalker led Minnewaska (11-1, 15-1) with two hits, including a double.

Paulson pitched 7Zc innings for the win, allowing two runs on 11 hits. She struck out three and walked one. Alicia Pfeninger threw the last two outs for the save.
Dani Schultz, who scored both of Morris' runs, Mary Rentz and Courtney Vogel had two hits each to lead the Tigers (4-5, 7-6).
Mackenzie Weatherly gave up nine hits, struck out one and walked two in the loss.
