DAWSON -- Despite striking out 14 times in the second game of its Camden Conference doubleheader with Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Monday, Dawson-Boyd swept the Fighting Saints 7-6 and 6-5.
MACCRAY (8-2) and Dawson-Boyd (4-2) now have the fewest losses in conference. They will play May 13 for what could determine the conference title.
Erin Haglund didn't issue a walk to the Blackjacks in the second game, but Dawson-Boyd collected nine hits and plated five runs over the last two innings to rally from an early deficit.
Kristen Lee doubled in Kelsey Jurgenson with the tying run and Mariah Kuhlmann ended the game with two-out single that brought in Lee.
Brooke Carlson and Briana Baker both scored on wild pitches in the top half of the seventh to give KMS a 5-4 lead.

Dawson-Boyd (4-2, 7-2) also won the first game in the seventh inning as McKenzie Franzky singled, Jurgenson tripled, Lee doubled and Kuhlmann singled to produce three runs in the top half of the seventh.
KMS (5-3, 9-4) had leads of 2-0 and 6-4 before the Blackjacks, who had 12 hits, battled back. Winning pitcher Kendra Lindblad shook off her wildness by limiting KMS to three hits.
