TRACY -- Behind a 23-hit attack in the second game of a doubleheader with Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg swept the Panthers 10-3 and 14-4 Tuesday to win a share of the Camden North Conference title.
The Fighting Saints split the conference crown with Dawson-Boyd as both finished 9-3 in the loop.
An eight-run third inning in the opener allowed KMS to take an early 8-1 lead. Thirteen batters went up to the plate in the frame and Melissa Just singled twice in her two trips.
Ellen Johnson, Brooke Carlson and Ali Clark also had two hits in the game.
Sam Dunn worked all seven innings to pick up the win. She gave up five hits, two earned runs and two walks while recording six strikeouts.

The bats came alive in the second game for KMS as nine players combined to pound out 23 hits. Clark, Johnson, Briana Baker, Erin Haglund and Tabitha Feldman all had three hits while Carlson, Dunn, Just and Britta Diem had two apiece.
TMB tied the game at 4-4 in the third before KMS scored two runs in the fourth, three in the sixth and another five in the seventh.
None of the TMB runs were earned as Haglund struck out six and gave up three singles in a complete-game performance to pick up the win.
