MURDOCK - The Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg won convincingly in the first game of its Camden Conference doubleheader against Lac qui Parle Valley on Monday, but errors almost cost the Saints in Game Two.
The Fighting Saints scored 22 runs on 12 hits in a 22-0 win in Game One.
In Game Two, the Eagles tied the game with two runs in the top of the seventh inning but Mikaylie Hagen doubled in the winning run in an 8-7 Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg win.
Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg has not lost a regular season game since May 2010.
In Game One, Sam Gjerde was 3-for-3 and drove in two runs and Andrea Olson was 3-for-4 and also drove in a pair.

Alison Krieger allowed just two hits while striking out eight.
In Game Two, LQPV’s Morgan Croatt was 4-for-4 and Ally Jensen doubled in four trips.
The Saints committed seven errors and all the Eagles’ runs were unearned. Gjerde worked all seven innings and she struck out 11.
Kalli Forsell was 4-for-4 and drove in two runs.
