GRANITE FALLS -- Ashley Magnuson delivered a two-run single in the fourth and another two-run single in the sixth to spark Yellow Medicine East to an 8-6 win over BOLD in West Central South Conference softball action on Saturday.
Ashly Sneller had run-scoring singles in the first and third innings for YME (6-6, 8-7).
Allie Trudel went the distance for the win. She scattered nine hits, walked none and struck out four.
Magnuson finished 3-for-3, while Sneller, Jennessa Hoffman and Lauren Trudel had two hits apiece.
Alex Ebnet went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs for BOLD (5-8, 6-10), Brittany Nissen was 2-for-4. Brittany Dahlk took the loss, giving up nine hits, while walking one and striking out five.
