COTTONWOOD - Ali Krieger and Sam Gjerde both threw four-hit shutouts against Lakeview in a Camden Conference doubleheader on Thursday.
The Saints won Game One 7-0 and were ahead 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning of the second game when it was called as a final because of lightning.
In the first game, Kalli Forsell homered and Taylor Rasmussen and Sadie Sulier both had two hits to back Krieger, who walked one and struck out six.
In the second game, Sulier doubled in three fifth-inning runs to break a scoreless tie.
That was plenty for Gjerde, who walked one and struck out four. She and Krieger are both 6-0 for the Saints, who are 10-0 in the Camden Conference and 12-0 overall.
