MORRIS - Tracy Meichsner was 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs and Lauren Reimers was 2-for-3 with two RBIs as Morris/Chokio-Alberta held off Marshall 10-8 in a high-scoring non-conference game on Monday.
Meichsner recorded three of her RBIs in the fifth inning with a bases-loaded double.
Kayla Pring struck out four and went the distance to earn the pitching win.
Morgan Radell and Ashley Stattelman were both 2-for-3 for Marshall.
Morris/Chokio-Alberta hosts Sauk Centre today in a West Central Conference doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
