SPICER - New London-Spicer rallied in the bottom of the seventh to come from behind and beat Litchfield 13-12 on Tuesday in a Wright County Conference game.
After a back-and-forth slugfest, Kenzie Peterson flied out to centerfield with runners on second and third, driving in the tying run. The game-winner scored from second on an errant throw home.
Olivia Christopherson and Lindsay Vagle each had three hits, and Espi Austvold was 2-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs.
Peterson got the win in relief with 1.1 scoreless innings.
Jasmin Estrada was 1-for-4 with a fourth-inning grand slam for Litchfield.
Ashley Warren added two hits and three RBIs, and Kirsten Weseman and Kyndra Beavers were 2-for-4.
The two teams play a rematch at 4 p.m. today in Litchfield.

Mady Krienke doubled in a run and Krista Motzko singled home a run in Benson/Hancock’s three-run third inning in the first game of a West Central Conference doubleheader against Yellow Medicine East on Tuesday in Granite Falls.
The Brave Owls also took Game Two 2-1.
Addie Forbord got the win in both games. In Game One, she allowed just four hits and struck out six.
Motzko was 2-for-3, Kayla Crowell was 2-for-3 and scored a run, and Samantha Payne also drove in a run.
YME’s Becca Rigge was 2-for-3 and Megan Odegard scored the Sting’s lone run.

Motzko doubled in the tying run in the fourth inning and Brittney Kurkosky singled home the winning run in the fifth inning as the Brave Owls swept the doubleheader.
Forbord worked a complete game, surrendering seven hits, walking one and striking out three.
Kurkosky was 3-for-4 and also scored a run on Motzko’s double.
Motzko, Crowell and Nicole Berens all had two hits.
YME’s Jordan Glad was 2-for-2 and doubled in the Sting’s only run in the first inning. Marissa Sneller was 2-for-3 and also doubled. Megan Odegard had a hit and scored YME’s run.

RCW grabbed a brief 2-0 lead in the fifth but the visiting Warriors scored five times in the sixth to end the Jaguars’ regular season on a sour note Tuesday in Danube.
Taylor Sagedahl was 4-for-4 and Morgan Flann doubled, singled twice and had two RBIs to ignite BOLD’s 14-hit attack. Sierra Weis added two hits and drove in three runs, and Allison Krause had two RBIs.
Flann also earned a complete-game win, striking out eight and scattering five hits.
Brittany Harazin had two hits for RCW (11-9).
