LAKEVIEW -- Allie Trudel threw a shutout and Courtney Hinz drove in two runs leading Yellow Medicine East to a 4-0 victory over the Lakeview Lakers on Monday in non-conference softball action.
Trudel allowed three hits, walked one and fanned eight.
Hinz's two-out double in the third brought home Nena McCalla, who had walked.
The score stayed 1-0 until the top of the seventh when Ashly Sneller and Hinz each had run-scoring singles in a three-run inning.
