MINNEAPOLIS -- Both Litchfield doubles teams came up short in their quest for a state tournament berth Friday, losing in their respective semifinals at the Section 5A tournament at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.
Dominic Devine and Zach Hedtke lost to Myles Tang and Daniel Carpenter of Breck 6-0, 6-1 and Aaron Carlson and Zach Fredman fell to Andrew Engel and Grant Bemis of Breck 6-0, 6-0. Devine and Hedtke beat their Dragon counterparts 6-4, 6-4 for third place.
