MONTEVIDEO -- The Montevideo Thunder Hawks advanced in Section 3A team tennis on Monday with a 6-1 victory against the MACCRAY Wolverines.
Montevideo singles players Bryce Bakkelund, Alex Thompson and Matt Koopmeiners each won in straight sets after MACCRAY's Jakob Becvar won 6-2, 6-0 at 1-singles.
The Thunder Hawks will play the winner of the Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd-Worthington match at 1:30 p.m. today in Redwood Falls.
