NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer had one second-place medal at the West Central North Conference tennis tournament Saturday.
Spencer Moller took runner-up at 4-singles for the Wildcats. He beat Derrick Taylor of Mora 6-3, 6-3 in his first match, but lost to St. Cloud Cathedral's Shawn Reagan 6-2, 6-2 in the final.
The Wildcats had three third-place finishes: Alex Wiegmann at 1-singles, George Kueppers at 2-singles and Nic Magnuson-Barret Steffen at 2-doubles.
The 1-doubles team of Josh Treptau-Ethen Sietsema and the 3-doubles team of Cody Treptau-Elliot Eckhoff each placed fourth.
