Brainerd's tennis team swept Willmar in singles on the way to a 5-2 victory Thursday afternoon.

The Cardinals shifted their lineup around to concentrate on doubles and they took wins in No. 2 and 3 doubles, just falling short in a close 6-2, 1-6, 7-5 match at No. 1 doubles.

The Cardinals will compete against Alexandria on Tuesday in Alexandria.
