GROVE CITY -- A three game-run after losing the opener sent Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City on to a 17-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-21 win over Benson in a battle for second place in West Central South on Thursday.
Paige Wilner stoked the Falcons' offense with 33 assists in 116 chances. Katie Knisley had 12 kills and Sydney Larson contributed eight kills.
The win gave the Falcons (6-2, 9-5) a half-match lead over Benson (5-2, 10-6). First-place BOLD re-mained unbeaten in league play at 7-0 with last night's win over Minnewaska.
Emily Auch led the Braves' attack with 14 kills and Emma Peterson drove the ball for five ace serves.
