PRINSBURG - Kalley Schwitters and Kendra Brouwer proved too tough at the net for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, combining for 29 kills in Central Minnesota Christian School’s three-set win in a Camden Conference match Tuesday.
Schwitters had 18 kills, with just two hitting errors in 29 attacks, and Brouwer had 11 kills.
Katie Brown had all three of CMCS’ solo blocks.
The Bluejays handled the Knights 25-15 in Game One, then fought through a tough Game Two to take a 2-0 lead.CMCS closed out the match 25-16 in the final set.
Ellie Greenwaldt finished with 35 set assists and she also served an ace.
Hannah Nelson served three aces and had 16 digs, and Schwitters was next with 14 digs and two ace serves.
CMCS plays at Renville County West at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
