SAUK RAPIDS - The Sauk Rapids Storm handed Willmar its first Central Lakes Conference loss, taking down the Cardinals 25-13, 25-23, 25-17 on Tuesday.
Willmar’s Cami Sletta picked up seven kills and two ace serves, and Esther Grussing had six kills and 10 set assists.
Carly Wedel added four kills and five set assists, and Addie Erickson had an ace serve and 11 digs.
It was the first CLC win for the Storm this season, who improved to 4-4 overall.
The Cardinals fell to 3-1 in conference and 4-4 overall. They next play Tuesday at Rocori.
