MORRIS -- Hancock advanced to the Section 6A-South title match with a 25-20, 25-23, 25-23 win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in volleyball action Monday.
The Owls (27-1) will face Underwood at 7 p.m. Thursday at Minnewaska High School.
Even though Hancock won in three straight games, the Owls had to come from behind in each of the last two.
Kendra Schmidgall hit 20 kills and served four aces, and Courtney Greiner followed with 14 kills and six ace blocks. Aria Walstad had 40 assists. Lauren Nelson had 16 digs, Ali Reese added 15 and Schmidgall 13.
