The Morris/Chokio-Alberta volleyball team won four of six matches to earn a second-place finish at the Brainerd Invitational on Saturday.
MCA won three of four pool matches, then in the championship bracket the Tigers split matches, losing to tournament champion New Life Academy but downing Robbinsdale Armstrong for second.
Lacee Maanum made just seven errors in 89 attempts and led the Tigers with 38 kills. Brooke Gillespie had 36 kills and Kayla Pring had 23.
Karly Fehr finished the invite with only four errors in 285 sets and she had 87 assists.

The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa volleyball team dropped four matches against larger schools at the Alexandria Invitational on Saturday.
Kinlee Swanson led the Jaguars with 21 kills.
Hailey Braegelman had 15 kills and 26 set assists, and Ashley Trustheim had 14 kills and tied Braegelman for the team lead with six ace blocks.
Tessa Halvorson also had 26 set assists.
