Prep Volleyball: NLS sweeps Perham to win Minnewaska Invite

GLENWOOD - New London-Spicer squeezed out of pool play against Benson but then defeated Perham in two games to win the Minnewaska Inviational on Saturday.
The Wildcats’ defeated Ortonville and Brandon-Evansville and opened with a 25-16 victory over Benson in their third pool match. The Wildcats lost the second game to the Braves but advanced to the title match by a four-point total-point differential.
Minnewaska was 2-1 in pool play and defeated Benson in the third-place match after losing the first game to the Braves.
Brandon-Evansville won the fourth-place match and Ortonville downed Hancock in the fifth-place match.
