The Vikings cruised in the conference championship, holding Central Minnesota Christian to a combined 39 points in the three-game sweep. Minneota (24-3) also swept the Bluejays (25-6) during the regular season.

CMCS has nearly two weeks off before playing either Lakeview or Lac qui Parle Valley in the quarterfinals of the Section 3A-North playoffs next Friday at 6 p.m. in Montevideo. The Bluejays received the No. 2 seed for the tournament, with Minneota getting the No. 1 slot.
