PAYNESVILLE - Benson senior outside hitter Shyanne Himley pegged 11 kills and Krista Motzko 8 more as the Braves won a marathon in the Paynesville gym Tuesday, 26-24 25-21 15-25 17-25 15-11.
After going down 0-2, the Bulldogs commanded the next two games but the visitors snapped too again to win the decider 15-11. Shaleah Schmidt served 24 times with one error and five aces.
Paynesville’s Ashley Froelich had 10 kills, Allie Stanger had 9 and Ella Johnson had 8. Sydney Riley served four aces and had 21 set assists.
