HECTOR - The BOLD volleyball team ended a three-match losing streak, defeating Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart in three on Monday.
The Warriors won 25-21, 25-19 and 26-24.
Kiah Morse led BOLD with 11 kills, Whitney Haney had nine and Makenna Steffel had six. Morse and Steffel both served two aces.
Allison Krause had 18 set assists and Lauren Kopel had 10.
BLHS’ Breanna Bubholtz had 10 kills and Kaitlyn Krumrey had nine set assists.

Paynesville won two tough games to open the match and then cruised in the third set to down Central Minnesota Christian School in a non-conference match on Monday in Paynesville.
The Bulldogs’ Ashley Froelich and Katelyn Dingmann both had eight kills and Ella Johnson had five kills and 14 digs.
Sydney Walsh finished with 26 set assists and she also served three aces.
The Bulldogs play host to Pierz on Thursday.

BBE improved to 6-6 overall and hosts Holdingford at 7:15 p.m. Thursday in a Central Minnesota Conference match.
Kendall Kampsen added nine kills and Tessa Halvorson had 33 set assists.
