ST. CLOUD - The Willmar volleyball team stayed on the heels of Rocori in the Central Lakes Conference race with a three-set victory over St. Cloud Tech on Thursday night.
The Cardinals won 25-19, 25-17, 25-13 and improved to 9-1 in the CLC and 14-4 overall. Conference-leading Rocori entered the night at 8-0.
Leah Ruter again led the Cardinals at the net with 15 kills and just one hitting error in 31 attempts. Dani Rosen had eight kills and blocked three shots.
Riley Grussing missed on just one of 78 sets and had 35 assists.
