MADISON - In a match that saw Lac qui Parle Valley and Montevideo split the first four games, the host Eagles survived Game 5 to stun the Thunder Hawks in a non-conference contest Monday.
LQPV (5-17) won the first game 25-17 and Game 4 25-19, while Montevideo won Game 2 25-17 and Game 3 25-19.
Sydney Wittnebel had a team-high 11 kills and 15 digs for the Eagles. Kylee Larsen added nine kills and 14 assists, Kelsey Miller a team-high 19 digs and three ace serves, and Morgan Croatt 17 assists.
