Prep volleyball roundup: KMS tops Benson in 5

BENSON - Katie Wilts was 10-for-12 with 10 kills to lead Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg past Benson 27-25, 22-25, 26-24, 10-25, 15-13 on Monday.

Elizabeth Wilts had 10 kills, 4 ace blocks and was 17-for-19 serving, and Madison Strandberg added 13 kills for the Fighting Saints.

Taylor Laumeyer paced Benson with 16 kills, and Bethany Erhardt had 13 kills and 2 ace blocks.

Benson next plays Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at home Thursday, and KMS hosts Lac qui Parle Valley today.
