Prep volleyball roundup: Melrose silences Bulldogs

PAYNESVILLE - Emily Goerdt was an all-around threat for Melrose, finishing with 15 kills, 13 set assists and three ace serves as the Dutchmen downed Paynesville in three games on Tuesday.
Melrose won 25-15, 26-24 and 25-16.
Paynesville’s Ella Johnson, McKayla Quade and Ashley Froelich all had four kills and Mackenzie Haines had 12 set assists.
Melrose improved to 6-0 in the West Central Conference and 7-0 overall.
