Prep volleyball roundup: Morris/CA blanks New London-Spicer

MORRIS - Brooke Gillespie had 16 kills and 19 digs and Karly Fehr had 33 set assists and 12 digs to lead Morris/Chokio-Alberta over New London-Spicer in a non-conference match 25-22, 25-23, 26-24 on Tuesday.
Jenna Howden finished with nine kills and two ace blocks.
Kabrie Weber led the Wildcats with 13 kills. Erin Tebben had nine kills and blocked four shots.
The Tigers won their season opener and play next at Melrose at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Wildcats are 2-3 overall and play host to Albany at 7 p.m. Thursday.
