Prep volleyball: Tigers down T-Hawks

MORRIS -- Morris/Chokio-Alberta maintained first place in the West Central Conference and remained undefeated overall with a three-game victory over Montevideo on Tuesday.

MORRIS - Morris/Chokio-Alberta maintained first place in the West Central Conference and remained undefeated overall with a three-game victory over Montevideo on Tuesday.
The Tigers won 25-13, 25-13 and 25-15.
Brooke Gillespie led the Tigers with eight kills, three ace serves and 10 digs.
Ashley Solvie and Jenna Howden both had six kills.
Karly Fehr finished with 20 set assists, she served two aces and blocked a shot.
Abby Olson led Montevideo with 10 kills, Grace Sulflow had 10 set assists and a block.
Sarah Sulflow had eight set assists and Kaylee Glomstad had three blocks.
The Tigers play at Minnewaska at 7:15 p.m. Thursday while Montevideo (5-4 overall) takes on the Dutch in Melrose at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
