Prep volleyball: Tigers sink Lakers

MORRIS - Morris/Chokio-Alberta moved on to the Section 3AA-North semifinals with a 25-12, 25-11, 25-20 victory over Minnewaska on Friday.
The No. 2-seed Tigers (18-8) will face third-seeded Redwood Valley on on Tuesday in Morris.
Minnewaska finished its season 9-14 overall.
Lacee Maanum, Kayla Pring and Brooke Gillespie all recorded double-digit kills for the Tigers, with Maanum supplying one ace serve.
Karly Fehr notched three ace serves and 35 set assists, and Haley Erdahl had two ace serves, four kills and eight digs.
Ariel Ostrander led the Lakers with eight kills, two ace blocks and 13 digs, and Emma Middendorf and Kaylee Glover each had three kills.
