NEW LONDON - Sydney Stone’s 18 kills and 12 digs helped fuel a sweep for New London-Spicer Tuesday at the Wildcats upended the visiting Dassel-Cokato Chargers 25-14 25-14 25-23 to claim a share of the Wright County West Conference title.
Kabrie Weber added nine kills and Erin Tebben put away another eight for NLS, which improved to 4-1 in the conference and 21-5 overall. Espi Austvold was the offensive catalyst, collecting 36 assists in 84 errorless sets.
NLS has a week off before playing at old West Central Conference rival Paynesville next Tuesday.
