Prep Wrestling Roundup: Minneota takes two to win the KMS triangular

Host Fighting Saints go 1-1, falling 51-20 to Vikings and beating Bulldogs 48-24

KERKHOVEN — The Minneota wrestling team opened the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg triangular with a 59-17 victory over Paynesville on Thursday night.

Then, they beat host KMS 51-20 to win the triangular.

The Fighting Saints also beat Paynesville 48-24 to go 1-1.

Minneota crushed Paynesville at Kerkhoven.

Payneville got victories from Carson Suchy at 120, Jose Anaya at 138, Aaron mages at 170 and Peyton Hemmesch at 195.
