Baseball roundup: T-M-B trots by LQPV

Panthers score 13 runs in fifth to lock up 17-7 Camden Conference win

MILROY — A 13-run fifth inning lifted the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton baseball team past Lac qui Parle Valley on Saturday at Milroy.

The game was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

Brandon Duscher and Alex Schuh each had two hits for the Panthers. Schuh scored three runs and had two RBIs while Duscher drove in three runs in the victory. Jeret Ankrum got the win after tossing two innings of relief.

Dain Mortenson was 2-for-3 for the Eagles with a double, two runs and an RBI. Blake Wollschlager was 2-for-4 with an RBI and struck out six over four innings in a no-decision.

LQPV will host Yellow Medicine East on Tuesday.
