SAUK CENTRE — Cullen Gregory and Jordan Gorans each scored two goals as the Willmar boys hockey team beat Prairie Centre 7-6 on Friday night at the Sauk Centre Ice Arena.
Willmar also got goals from Trenton Larson, Eli Van Buren and Bobby Poe.
Prairie Centre had leads of 2-0, 3-1 and 5-4.
The Cardinals got goals from Gregory, Gorans and Van Buren to go up 4-3 through two periods.
Prairie Centre then got goals from Zach Bick and Eli Fletcher to take a 5-4 lead. Gregory tied it up with his second goal at 7:56 of the third period and Poe scored the game-winner at 13:01.

The Cardinals then got an empty-netter at 15:44 to go up 7-5. The North Stars then closed it to 7-6 with a goal by Eli Fletcher, his fourth of the game.
The Cardinals broke a three-game losing streak. Willmar plays Moose Lake Area at 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Arena in Moose Lake.
