Boys soccer: Cathedral cruises past CMCS Bluejays

ST. CLOUD — Five players scored goals for St. Cloud Cathedral in its 5-0 boys soccer victory over Central Minnesota Christian on Monday at Whitney Park.

Joseph Torborg had a goal and three assists for the Crusaders, who are ranked 10th in Class A. Philip O’Neal, Jack Stange, Lucas Hanson and Jacob Oliver also scored goals for Cathedral. The Crusaders also got assists from Jacob Plante and Blake Newiger.

CMCS is scheduled to play at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Rocori in Cold Spring.
