ST. CLOUD — St. Cloud Cathedral improved to 4-0 with the Granite Ridge Conference boys soccer victory over Minnewaska Thursday at Whitney Park.
“We’ve got too many people hurt right now,” said Minnewaska head coach Ted Hill. “We’ve got three guys hurt. We’re actually pretty happy with this.”
Cathedral managed 22 shots, including 17 on goal. The Lakers’ Tenzin Dahl made 14 saves.
Jack Stang, Lucas Hanson and Joseph Torborg scored goals for the Crusaders. Cathedral head coach Alex Hess earned his 100th career victory with the win over Minnewaska.
The Lakers are host to Pelican Rapids at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood.
