KERKHOVEN — The Central Minnesota Christian girls basketball team put together one of its best performances of the season in beating Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 54-51 on Monday.
The loss ended a five-game winning streak for KMS (7-2 Camden North, 15-4 overall). CMCS (3-3 Camden North, 7-11 overall) has won six of eight games.
Sienna Duininck led the Bluejays with 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists and teammate Lauren Taatjes added 10 points.
Acelynn Hacker had 22 points and three steals for the Fighting Saints.
CMCS takes on Dawson-Boyd at 6 p.m. Thursday at Dawson. KMS plays Renville County West at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Renville.
