COON RAPIDS — The Lac qui Parle Valley girls golf team finished in 11th at the Tri-State Preview Saturday at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids.
The Eagles finished the two-day tournament Saturday with a combined score of 731. After a 370 on Friday, LQPV improved on Day 2 with 361.
Alexandria, the defending Class AAA state champion, won with a two-day total of 638. Eastview was second with 655, and Detroit Lakes was third with 667.
Bunker Hills is the host site of the Class AAA state tournament.
Isabella Jacobs and Sarah Halvorson led the Eagles’ efforts. The two tied for 26th place with 175s.

Chanhassen’s Madi Hick took medalist honors after carding back-to-back rounds of 69 for a two-day total of 138.
The defending Class A state champion, LQPV plays Day 1 of the Section 5A championship Wednesday at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Willmar.
